AQUA ZUMBA® is finally here!

Livin’ the Aqua life. Davide holds a Level 2 Aqua Fitness ‘Shallow Water Workout’ certificate and is an enthusiastic Aqua Zumba instructor – having taught this format here and abroad. He is also one of the few people in the UK to have received an Aqua Zumba Boost official certificate by the world Lead Trainer of the Aqua Zumba programme. So if you are looking for a first class pool party experience – Davide is your man!

What is Aqua Zumba®? Aqua Zumba® is a “pool party” workout for all ages. It is a water-based workout thatblends the Zumba® formula, philosophy and music together with resistance based movements in the water engaging your muscles by dragging and pushing the water around you. It is a total body workout without the impact of a normal land-based fitness class. Your feet are always in contact with the pool floor so no swimming skills are needed. It is a safe and suitable workout for both “water babies” and non confident swimmers.
How long is the class? Aqua Zumba starts at 1.45pm. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to change into your swimwear and be ready in the pool for the lesson to start on time with all your favourite Zumba tunes. Aqua Zumba is a 45min class, plus warmup and cool down/stretching. Please remember to bring your towel and drinkable water too! We still sweat in water (even if we don’t realise it) so we need to keep our body hydrated.


What should I wear? Aqua Zumba is primarily a fitnessclass so always wear something comfortable to work out it. Ladies please choose between a swim suit or leggings and a t-shirt, maybe a crop top to give you extra support and gentleman, shorts or swim trunks. You may choose to wear socks for better grip. Please avoid wearing jewellery or watches and be aware that your hair may get wet as the water can get splashy, but you will not be asked to get your face wet or submerge under water.
